This semi-soft cheese is characterzied by its fragrant, tangy flavor. To this we have added cranberry for a pronounced texture and a sweeter flavor. It is produced with unseasoned cow’s milk.
Nowadays, this pearly white Acceglio cheese is hard to come by although it was once the most popular cheese in Acceglio, Italy.
It is recommended to use it in sandwiches or as a table cheese.
It is recommended to pair it with local white wine.
